What Many Expecting Mothers Feel

Many women want to capture the special time of pregnancy – but are unsure how they will feel in front of the camera. Your body changes, everything feels new, and yet you want to honour this phase in a beautiful way.

New parents experience something similar: little sleep, a crying baby, lively siblings – and still the wish for natural, loving photos remains.

And then there’s the timing: The best time for a maternity session is between week 30–36, and for a newborn session between day 7–14 – a very short window.

All of these feelings are completely normal. That’s why it’s so important to have a space where you can simply arrive as you are – without pressure or perfection.

Hi, I’m Sonja!

There are moments in life that are so unique we want to keep them forever — yet they often pass before we can hold onto them.

During my own first pregnancy, I realized exactly that. Since then, I’ve specialized in maternity and newborn photography in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area.

My goal is to make these special moments visible — not only in your memory, but in natural, warm photographs that will touch you and your family again and again..
